Product Description

The ultimate laser rangefinder for tournament play and avid golfers, the Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder combines compact size with serious power, helping you figure out distances to the green within seconds. The Tour V2 is equipped with Bushnell's PinSeeker technology, which precisely isolates your target to improve accuracy and eliminate false readings. The result? You can easily figure out the distance to flags tucked in the deepest corners of the green despite background clutter that might befuddle lesser rangefinders. Regardless of how many deep bunkers and perilous water hazards are on the course, the Tour V2 gives you the distance information you need to make smart, safe shots. And thanks to the Tour V2's impressive 5- to 1,000-yard range--which is accurate to plus or minus 1 yard--no hazard is out of bounds.

The Tour V2 displays the distance to your target on the LCD readout.
PinSeeker Technology
A game of inches becomes a game of yards if your rangefinder gives false readings. The problem with most ranging devices is that the target is constantly competing with the larger objects that surround it. These larger objects, such as trees, contain greater signal strength and provide more reflectivity than the target, resulting in false distance readings. So what are you really aiming at? To overcome these limitations, Bushnell created PinSeeker technology, which ensures accurate target acquisitions by isolating your target and completely shutting out background hazards. When your rangefinder senses more than one object, the closer of the two is displayed so that the desired distance is calculated every time within plus or minus 1 yard.

Bushnell's laser rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 laser beam (as classified by the FDA), which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Next, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for the laser to reach the target and return to the unit. Finally, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.

The rangefinder's Slope mode reads the slope angle and adjusts your club length accordingly.
Targeting Modes
The Tour V2 offers three targeting modes. PinSeeker mode is designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind, allowing you to easily acquire the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. The Scan mode, meanwhile, allows you to pan across the landscape while viewing a continuously updated LCD display of the distances between you and the targets you scan with the viewfinder. And golfers can use the Slope mode to measure the angle within plus or minus 1 degree. The rangefinder will then compensate the distance based upon the ball trajectory and type of club used.

Other features include a reticle option that shows the distance of targets in the crosshairs, a 5x magnification level, a 3-volt lithium battery, a battery indicator that flashes when the battery is low, and a custom high-tack grip that rivals the grip on your favorite driver. The Tour V2 carries a two-year warranty.

A positive addition to my game! Don't worry too much about the steady hand concern, Pinseeker works well and truly saves me strokes caused by distance error. Now I'm the "official" crier of yardage for any group I'm in (maybe the only down side of this tool). I feel this is much better than GPS because you have infinite target options and, if your on the road and don't know what courses you may play, no computer download or preplanned golf is required.

I used the V2 right out of the box, although I read the manual while awaiting arrival. The V2 requires you be a little sensible regarding the distance, and if the reading doesn't seem right, I simply scan again to verify. The slope option is well worth the extra $$ and, for me, it's dead-on. I simply can't see how someone would be disappointed with the V2 rangefinder.

this range finder is awesome.I've dialed in my shots for more birdie opportunity's.super lite, and simple to use.wish i would of had one years ago.takes alot of guess work out of playing when you have your club distances on paper.the only drawback is holding steady in wind. it takes 3 or 4 reads to get a average. would highly recommend to anyone wanting to improve his or her score.very accurate, especally reading up and down hills.
Extremely accurate and useful

Great rangefinder. It is easy to use, very accurate, and I use it all the time. I walk when I play golf, so this small, lightweight rangefinder really comes in handy. I use it to help me judge the distance on approach shots by guessing before measuring. Amazing how accurate this rangefinder is when compared to other players that are using the GPS in their carts. Even then, they ask me how far it is to the flag, since the GPS only gives a reading to an area of the green. I don't use the slope feature as much as I thought I would, but it might come in handy for future courses.

This is the easiest little golf rangefinder you can buy! Don't waste time with annual subscriptions of those GPS I took it out and it was so easy to use and it took all the pressure off of my game. It is really small and the pinseeker is quick and concise. After a couple of holes of playing with it I strapped it on to my belt and it felt very comfortable it didn't even come close dis-comforting me. Buy this item and you will not regret it. One of the best golf investments I have ever made. Always know how far from the pin you are. No more looking for sprinker heads or hoping the course has GPS in the carts. Easy to use.
